International Film Festivals award accolades to Bahamas Produced Television Series Goombay Kids!

 The Tribune's Weekend publication announced today that the Bahamian show Goombay Kids continues to rack up international awards.

Steady on the road to success, this is not their first award in recent times, according to South Florida's Caribbean News.

Goombay Kids was the Award Winner of Best TV Series at the 2 11 17 International Film Festival in Tamil Nadu, India. The show was also a finalist in the St. Petersburg Television and Film Festival. Plus,  a finalist for Best TV or Web Series. Many founders and members of the jury on the panel work in the leading areas of cinema, TV and Streamers in Russia.   242 Artist Network gives awards at the recent boxing day event! Artjoy Video Premier and roots market’. Held on December 26th 2021 at the Edmund Moxey Youth & Community Centre on Baillou hill Road from 4-8pm; the Artist honoured for their contributions include Landlord for ‘Top Marketing Support’, Ju Byron for ‘Pro Team Production’, and Lyric of Grace Records for ‘Excellence in Artistry’.      Additional highlights included art and products by the Roots Market vendors. Bahamian entrepreneurs presenting their businesses featured Visual Art by Edahlia, Organic Honey by Invictus Trading Company and Healthy Food and Beverages by Bobotime Enterprise.
